William read Spanish and French at Trinity Hall, Cambridge and trained as an actor at Drama Studio London and the Escuela Navarra de Teatro, Pamplona. His translation credits include New Plays from Chile, Arena Mexico and Cuba Real (Royal Court); Cuba for BBC radio drama; Villa+Discurso (Royal Court,  Edinburgh International Festival and, later this year, the Mac, Belfast); Springtime (Finborough Theatre); Divino Pastor Góngora (Edinburgh Fringe and Kinsale Arts Week), and literal translation for All About My Mother (Old Vic).
