William Gaminara – Cast
William has worked extensively in Television, Theatre, Radio and Film (including ‘James Loveless' one of the Tolpuddle martyrs in Bill Douglas’ final film Comrades). He has appeared in many of our most popular television series, The Bill, Casualty, Hope and Glory, Dangerfield, Spooks, People like us, Attachments… but is best known for his role as Professor Leo Dalton in Silent Witness recently leaving after eleven series. On stage he has worked in a variety of productions at the York Theatre Royal, the Bristol Old Vic, the Swan Theatre Worcester, and the Soho Poly. Roles include Dr Polidori in the premiere of Howard Brenton's Bloody Poetry at Hampstead Theatre, Brian Epstein in John, Paul, Ringo, George and Bert at the Young Vic, and Dr Joseph Cardin in Howard Davies' production of The Children’s Hour at the National Theatre. He has most recently completed an ATG tour of Terence Rattigan's Less than Kind. On radio his credits include The No 1 Ladies Detective Agency, the role of Ian Smith in Kwame Kwei-Armah’s God’s President, and most recently The Dreamer with Jane Asher. He has read innumerable audio books including most of Bernard Cornwell’s ‘Sharpe’ series and played the part of Dr Locke in The Archers for six years.
