Prior to joining the Gate, Sandy spent several years both volunteering for and then working full time as Fundraising Manager at the Orange Tree Theatre.   Her early career was in Advertising/Account Management both in London and New York, working in Development and Marketing  with Voluntary Service Overseas, producing fundraising theatre galas for children’s charities and hospices and then as an Event Producer on various cultural and education events for the London 2012 Olympic Bid.
