Rebecca Prentice – Communications and Marketing Consultant
Rebecca Prentice is a producer and communications consultant with a passion for innovative, impactful productions. As Communications and Marketing Manager at the Gate, Rebecca leads successful marketing campaigns and communication strategies. Her work on Wish You Were Here helped make it the theatre’s most financially successful production in recent history.
As the founder and Executive Producer of Prentice Productions, she develops bold new writing across theatre, film, and audio. With a focus on queer and female-led storytelling, the company seeks to innovate within the arts, creating work that is socially relevant and commercially ambitious. Theatre credits include I’m Not Being Funny (Bush Theatre, Bristol Old Vic), How I Learned to Swim (Paines Plough’s Roundabout, Bristol Old Vic, Brixton House), Jobsworth (Park Theatre, 2025, Pleasance Edinburgh, with TV development at Brock Media), 30 and Out (Soho Theatre, Pleasance London, Pleasance Edinburgh, Omnibus Theatre), and Mermaid (Theatre503). Screen credits span award-winning shorts, festival selections, and projects in post- and pre-production. Rebecca Prentice is supported by the MGCFutures Bursary and the Stage One Bursary for New Producers.
