Naomi is a Development and Storytelling professional, currently serving as Development Manager at the Gate. Raised between Shanghai and London and holding an honours degree from New York University, she brings a truly global perspective to her work. Her cross-cultural background fuels her passion for stories that transcend borders.

Naomi began her development journey working at an education consultancy firm, helping students craft compelling essays for college applications through strategic planning and brainstorming. Witnessing how successful storytelling can create tangible impact, Naomi was inspired to pursue this on a larger scale, leading her into the field of grant writing and development. Before starting at the Gate, Naomi was the Development Manager at Jamel Gaines Creative Outlet, a non-profit arts organisation serving underserved communities in New York, where she led a fundraising team and oversaw foundation, corporate, and individual giving. As an actress, Naomi most recently appeared as Ophelia in City Gate Production’s Hamlet.
