Karis E Halsall – Playwright

Karis E Halsall graduated from both the Royal Court’s Young Writer’s Programme and their Invitation Only group in 2008. In 2009 she was selected by the Court alongside 10 other writers to take part in their ‘Supergroup’ of young writers. Her writing credits include Time’s Up (Bush Theatre Beano), HELP, You Can’t Buy Toy Soldiers Anymore (The Old Red Lion), The Bizarre Bazaar (Hightide Festival), The Killing Moon (Labfest, Theatre503), The Woman who Stops and Talks to Prostitutes (PLAYList @ Theatre503), Phantom (Theatre 503), Rule Brutannia (Nabokov, Present Tense @ The Southwark Playhouse), Do Us Part (For the Heat and Light Company @ the Hampstead), Terror Tales (Drywrite @ Hampstead Theatre), Finelines (Hampstead Theatre Startnight).
