Kaleya Baxe is a writer, director and facilitator who studied the BA (Hons) in Drama, Applied Theatre and Education at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Previously, she has directed Patricia Gets Ready (White Bear Theatre), Deux Femme on the Edge de la Revolution (short, Roundhouse) and Wine Down (short, Theatre503). She has previously assisted on Radio (Arcola Theatre) and is currently training on the Young Vic’s Intro to Directing programme mentored by Roy Alexander Weise. Kaleya is also a recipient of the MGCFutures Assistant Director Bursary 2019. 

Her debut play Never Forget was recently staged at the Tristan Bates Theatre, John Thaw Studio as part of the Blacktress season.
