Fiona joined the Gate after heading up fundraising and communications at Greenbelt Festival – an arts, faith and justice festival that explores how to change the world through arts and debate. Before that, Fiona worked at the Old Vic Theatre on a major fundraising campaign. She has a Masters in Performing Arts with a specialism on the role of the American religious right on artistic freedom and a degree in Theatre Studies for which she wrote her dissertation on Grotowski. Fiona lives in Cambridge, loves her commute to London, is a passionate cyclist, freelance food-writer and aspiring playwright. She has recently set up her own theatre company – Escargot Theatre – creating unique work which challenges big issues through tiny plays.
