Davida (she/her) is a writer, performer, facilitator and is currently the Assistant Producer at Gate Theatre supporting the delivery of international projects and artist development programmes. Before joining the Gate in August 2025, Davida was previously worked in supervisory, project coordination and youth engagement roles at organisations such as Talawa Theatre Company, Boundless Theatre and Unicorn Theatre.

Born and raised in South West London, Davida’s work is centered around community, collaborativity, accessibilty and creative storytelling. With a background in participatory arts, community activism and nationwide campaigning, Davida has collaborated with organisations including the Advocacy Academy, BORN::FREE LDN and Battersea Arts Centre, where she led grassroots campaigns focused on urgent social issues and engagement projects that used creativity as a tool for collective changemaking.
