Daisy Bunyan – Creative Associate
Daisy studied Writing Directing and Performance at the Department of Theatre Film and Television at the University of York. She was part of the drama societies, took a production to the Edinburgh fringe in her second year and was individually selected for her costume design by the National Student Drama Festival 2010 in Scarborough. In her final year she worked with Designer Alex Lowde on Professor Mike Cordner’s production of Mad World My Masters and was responsible for developing the costume store at the department’s state of the art theatre production facilities. Daisy immediately put her experience into a professional context as Costume Supervisor for A Clockwork Orange: the musical at the Theatre Royal Stratford East, working with Alex Lowde’s designs. She has continued to assist Lowde, including on touring productions, and most recently on Edward II at the National Theatre. She stepped up to the role of second assistant director on Honeycomb Lodge (2013), directed by Lesley Manning and written by Surendra Kochar.
