Bella is the Co-founder and Artistic Director of In Tandem Theatre Company.
She trained at Drama Centre London (BA Directing) 2010-2013 and has been a Creative Associate at the Gate Theatre since 2014. 
 
Since graduating she has directed work at Theatre 503/Pleasance Courtyard Edinburgh (Family Tree), Battersea Arts Centre (My Parents Scratch), The Etcetera Theatre (Low Level Panic), Rosemary Branch (After Liverpool) and Tristan Bates (Most People Are Other People). She has also worked as an Associate Director for Macrobert (Titus – UK tour), Irondale Theatre NY (Color Between The Lines), Gary Kitching & co in association with Greyscale (Dead To Me – Summerhall and UK Tour), and assisted The Traverse Theatre / 59E59 NY (Clean & A Respectable Widow Takes to Vulgarity & 50 Plays for Edinburgh), Greyscale Theatre Company (Gods are Fallen and All Safety Gone – UK tour), Northern Stage (I Promise You Sex and Violence) and The Gate (Gate Gala & I’d Rather Goya Robbed Me Of My Sleep Than Some Other Asshole).
