Barbara is part of Gate Generations
Barbara Joan Smith is an actress from South London. She played the leading role of Beth in ‘White Girl’ directed by Nadia Latif which was nominated for Best Short film at the BFI London Film festival. She has also guest starred in BBC’s Call the Midwife, Casualty and Doctors. She performed in a new play called ‘Unburied’ at the Bunker Theatre last year whose run ended the week before the country locked-down for the first time. She is a member of The Gate’s Young Associates and The National Youth Theatre.
