Aliya supports fundraising for the Gate; organising charity events and undertaking administrative duties to help development. She recently graduated in Theatre and English from Brunel University where she went on to work at the Guardian and continues to freelance as a culture journalist today. Aliya joined the Gate in December 2018 and hopes to diversify its audience of supporters and raise awareness for its community led projects.
