Ever wanted to learn more about producing theatre?
Led by the Gate Theatre's producer, Daisy Cooper, learn how The Convert was produced – such as casting and hiring a creative team while working within the vision of a script set in 1896 Rhodesia.
This workshop will be a three hour exploration of all things producing. Part practical, part Q&A session, participants can use this workshop to find out all they can about the world of theatre producing from the Gate’s resident expert. This workshop is suitable for all artists, due to the success of our previous producing workshops tickets will sell fast!
Daisy Cooper is the Gate Theatre's producer, having worked at the Gate for the past two years. Prior to joining the Gate, Daisy worked as an independent producer, working primarily in site specific and immersive work for companies such as curious directive, RETZ and The Milo Wladek Co. She has also worked with TheatreCraft, The Olivier Awards with MasterCard, Emma Brunjes Productions and the BBC.
