Focusing on Sophie Treadwell’s 1928 masterpiece Machinal this workshop provides an insight into how a director might respond to an existing text, formulate an approach to a production and find a theatrical language which connects with a contemporary audience.
Lyndsey Turner is an Associate Director of Sheffield Theatres.
