As part of the run of Bootycandy, Gate Theatre is hosting the Black Queer Actors' Playground - an idea originated by Tristan Fynn-Aiduenu.
Tristan created the Black Queer Actors' Playground in 2020 as a space for Black and Queer actors to come together to play and experiment with the theatrical artform. This session of the playground will be facilitated by malakaï sargeant and will focus on using storytelling as a mode of self exploration and expression.
Tristan Fynn-Aiduenu is the director of Bootycandy, the UK premiere of Robert O’Hara's semi-autobiographical, kaleidoscopic, Black queer fever dream of connected vignettes.
