Diane Morgan

Diane Morgan is currently Head of Arts & Culture at Westway Trust where she works with artists, communities, environmentalists, activists, cultural organisations and urban planners, to reimagine the creative and cultural infrastructure for Portobello and North Kensington. Her early career began as Head of Projects at Contact Theatre in Manchester. The role followed an intense period of juggling arts centre administration, teaching digital art and establishing a touring performance company, whilst completing her studies in media (BA Hons) and visual communication (MA).

She has worked as a freelance video artist/filmmaker; a producer of theatre, festivals and conferences; and a trainer and adviser; for theatres, local authorities, and organisations such as Index on Censorship, Clore Leadership, What Next? and British Council.  She was formerly Director of nitroBEAT based at Soho Theatre; Head of Creative Development at Bernie Grant Arts Centre; and a strategic project manager at Arts Council England (Decibel Programme and Cultural Leadership Programme). Diane is a Trustee of Small Green Shoots and Gate Theatre. She is passionate about people, ideas and co-creating cultural interventions as catalysts for social change.
