Global Origins is proud to present REROUTED: a digital discussion group for international plays and performances in partnership with the Gate Theatre. REROUTED will be a free, open-access series of webinars for anyone interested in theatre, performance and art, including students, researchers, emerging creatives and artists. Each session will feature a different playtext, film or performance to be chosen, introduced and discussed by brilliant guest practitioners.
Through the discussions we will aim to expand our lens on global art and create a more diverse, exciting and inclusive industry by considering non-British modes of performance. We will converse with artists from all over the world about the art that inspired them and consider how we can decolonise British theatre. Join us for free monthly sessions from April 2021!
