Gate Debate: New Writing

The Gate's Executive Director, Clare Slater, chairs a Gate Debate about new writing with two leading voices in UK Theatre. Christopher Campbell is the Literary Manager at the Royal Court Theatre and Nic Wass is the Artistic Associate at the Tricycle Theatre. They share their experiences of working with new playwrights, how new plays get programmed and trends in new writing.

This discussion is in response to our current production of In the Night Time (Before the Sun Rises), a new play from emerging playwright, Nina Segal.
