Legendary the world over for his dizzingly kaleidoscopic theatrical collages, American playwright and historian Charles Mee comes to the Gate Theatre this fall.  Pillaging the ruins of Western history in order to transform Aeschylus's Suppliant Women into an explosive and musical exploration of love, relationships, violence, power and other contemporary myths, Mee rips on sources from Valerie Solanus and Frances Mayes to Brides Magazine and Dusty Springfield.
