Assisted Performances
We program audio described and captioned performances for selected productions. Although seating at the Gate is usually unreserved, specially allocated seating is made available for those using these services. When you book, please let us know if you need an allocated seat. You can also let us have this information if booking online.

Venue Details
The Gate Theatre is on the first floor above the Prince Albert pub. From street level there are twenty steps up to the foyer and there is no lift. We can accommodate some requests for wheelchair access: please contact the General Manager on 020 7229 5387 or gate@gatetheatre.co.uk to discuss your visit.
Large print versions of cast lists are available on request from the box office.
An Induction Loop is available on request.
Please be aware that the seating configuration changes for each show.

The box office is not generally open during for in-person bookings. A box office assistant is available in the theatre an hour before each performance for ticket collection and bookings for that performance only.
Audio Description Live commentary via personal headphones for blind or partially sighted people.
Captioning English text displayed on a unit for deaf or hard of hearing patrons.
Touch Tour An opportunity to explore the set and costumes before a show to enhance the experience for blind or partially sighted patrons.
